Product Overview

Big suction cups made in silicone rubber require a usable surface across the entire contacting rim. The custom diameter and profile should follow the workpiece area and the mounting arrangement. A larger footprint can introduce additional surface features beneath the lip, so selection should begin with the real pickup region rather than overall workpiece dimensions.

Inspect that region for curvature, seams and changes in level. Check the cup's approach so one side is not compressed excessively before the other reaches the surface. The body needs enough space around the connection to assume its intended working shape without rubbing nearby hardware.

Assess the complete vacuum system with the actual item, load orientation and movement. A large or heavy duty description does not assign a verified load capacity to every configuration. Include release and placement in the trial so the cup does not disturb the item after reaching its destination.

Keep the rim free of debris across its full circumference. During inspection, rotate the view around the cup to find a small cut or flattened region that may be hidden from the normal operating position. A localized defect can matter even on a broad cup. When replacing it, preserve the mounting and working height or review the machine setup to suit the new geometry.

Material options
Custom silicone compound; formulation and geometry developed together.
Hardness selection
Silicone options: 20–80 Shore A. Check the cup's approach so one side is not compressed excessively before the other reaches the surface.
Custom geometry
The custom diameter and profile should follow the workpiece area and the mounting arrangement.
Fit evaluation
Inspect that region for curvature, seams and changes in level.
Color & OEM
Custom colors; OEM markings outside the suction contact face.

Ordering this custom component

Can the shape be adjusted to my mating parts?

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.

Which details should be agreed before tooling?

Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.

Can a sample help define the replacement?

A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.

How is the quotation for this part determined?

The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
