A threaded rubber plug can use color to distinguish versions while its mating profile provides the intended engagement. The thread form, usable depth, and sealing region should be defined for the receiving component. A familiar color does not establish that another plug has the correct thread or seating height for the same opening.
Select the silicone configuration for the actual substances, temperature, and removal frequency. Check clearance around the exposed portion so the plug can be handled without bending the threaded section sideways. If the closure seals, assess where the continuous contact is created rather than relying on thread engagement alone.
Start the plug squarely and stop if it engages unevenly instead of forcing it farther. Keep grit away from the rubber thread and inspect for damaged receiving edges. During reuse, look for tearing or a profile that no longer recovers after removal. Preserve the selected version in replacement parts so the intended engagement and closure remain coordinated with the existing hardware.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
