Match the attachment and installation method
A custom vibration bushing rubber engine mount provides a compliant interface within an engine attachment. The bushing bore, outer profile, and any supporting shoulders should match the complete hardware arrangement. The design needs to locate the engine while allowing the movement intended by the mounting system.
Check the bushing's seated position before final fastening. Its inner and outer interfaces should engage without the rubber being twisted or forced sideways to correct mismatched parts. The surrounding hardware should not create an unintended rigid connection around the compliant section. Establish the clearance available as the engine moves within its designed range.
Select the compound for the actual temperature and fluid exposure at the mounting location. Assess the complete engine support arrangement through its relevant operating conditions, including the position of connected hoses or wiring. A bushing's diameter and hardness do not independently define a load capacity or isolation result. During replacement, preserve the full profile and material and recheck the engine's supported position so the attachment returns to its original geometry.
Photos illustrate structure or material appearance only. The bushing bore, outer profile, and any supporting shoulders should match the complete hardware arrangement. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
