Product Overview

Rubber bushings for shock absorber assemblies should match the specific mounting connection and its intended movement. The custom bore, outside diameter, axial length, and compound work together within that connection. A similar-looking bushing may differ in the way it is supported or compressed by the surrounding hardware.

Check the original seat and the component that passes through the center. Include shoulders, sleeves, and fastening clearances that establish the final installed position. The rubber should operate within the movement provided by the assembly rather than being forced to accommodate a misaligned mount.

Use the equipment's specified installation method and hardware arrangement. The complete shock absorber system establishes its operating behavior; the rubber component alone does not define a damping rating. After fitting, inspect the connection for correct seating and required clearance. During maintenance, look for cracking, displacement, or recurring uneven deformation. Replace with the compatible geometry and material so that the original mounting relationship is restored without changing the intended load path or surrounding attachment.

Material options
Rubber. Custom formulation and color for the intended contact conditions.
Hardness selection
Rubber: 30–90 Shore A. The rubber should operate within the movement provided by the assembly rather than being forced to accommodate a misaligned mount.
Custom dimensions
The custom bore, outside diameter, axial length, and compound work together within that connection.
Fit & assembly
Check the original seat and the component that passes through the center.
Use & inspection
Replace with the compatible geometry and material so that the original mounting relationship is restored without changing the intended load path or surrounding attachment.

Ordering this custom component

Can the shape be adjusted to my mating parts?

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.

Which details should be agreed before tooling?

Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.

Can a sample help define the replacement?

A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.

How is the quotation for this part determined?

The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
