A numeric keypad uses a defined arrangement of number keys for entering values or commands. Silk-printed legends should remain readable at their finished size and in the panel's normal viewing position. The key pattern must also register with the underlying input mechanism so the visible numbers correspond to the intended entries.
For a waterproof design, the keypad surface is only part of the enclosure arrangement. Perimeter joints, cable exits and adjacent openings also need appropriate construction and evaluation. Printed markings or a flexible rubber sheet do not establish an ingress rating for the assembled device.
Check individual keys and repeated entry with the enclosure fully assembled. The housing should not pinch a key or hold an active area against its contact. During care, preserve the printed surface and keep residue from accumulating along moving edges. Inspect a removed sheet before refitting it, restoring its original orientation so both the numerical layout and any perimeter contact remain correctly positioned within the panel.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. The housing should not pinch a key or hold an active area against its contact. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
