A translucent silicone laser keypad should be developed with the intended visible effect and internal layout together. The silicone thickness, etched regions and surrounding structure influence how the legends appear. If illumination is part of the design, the actual light source and enclosure must be included in the evaluation.
Custom dimensions, colors and identification methods allow the keypad to match the product. Check legend size and position at the normal viewing angle, including whether neighboring internal features become visible through the translucent material. The visual treatment should leave the key's moving geometry and housing clearance appropriate for operation.
Evaluate button travel and return after the enclosure is fully fastened. A visually centered key may still rub if the locating sheet is stretched or clamped unevenly. During assembly, keep particles away from the visible and underside regions. Use a cleaning process compatible with the silicone and finished surface. If legend appearance varies across the keypad, assess the internal lighting and support arrangement as well as the molded component before changing the artwork or material.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. The visual treatment should leave the key's moving geometry and housing clearance appropriate for operation. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
