A black Thick Rubber Washer adds an annular elastomer section within a matching joint. Its free thickness is only part of the selection: the installed height after compression must also suit the assembly. A washer chosen simply to fill a gap may alter the position of the adjoining parts once the fastener is secured.
Specify the bore, outside diameter and material around the intended contact faces. Keep the rubber supported where the joint applies force, and account for any nearby gap into which the section could move. Black color should not be used to identify the compound when several material options look alike.
Evaluate the washer at the joint's required assembly conditions. Check that the opening remains aligned and that the outer edge is not pinched beneath another feature. When replacing a used washer, compare the design dimensions with the removed part rather than assuming its compressed shape is the required new size. Maintain the selected compound and geometry together for consistent replacement.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
