A rubber seal ring should remain identifiable when a product family uses several similar connection sizes. Small differences in the bore, section, or outer profile can be difficult to spot once loose rings are mixed together. Custom versions need to stay associated with their intended joints throughout assembly and maintenance.
Compare the complete profile when selecting a part from a set. Two rings may share an outside diameter yet leave a different central opening or occupy a different closed gap. Keep the chosen compound identified as well, because visual matching does not distinguish every rubber formulation.
Check the receiving joint before fitting, using its original configuration rather than an approximate neighboring size. A ring that can be pressed into the opening is not necessarily the corresponding seal. During service, separate removed parts from unused replacements so permanent deformation in an old ring does not cause confusion. Restore the developed version for the specific connection and evaluate that assembly's service requirements. This avoids using flexibility to make one nominal ring serve several unrelated seats.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
