Product Overview

Sleeved silicone rubber bushings combine a compliant body with a sleeve feature in a suspension-related mounting arrangement. The sleeve dimensions affect how the fastener and adjacent brackets connect, while the rubber geometry determines the available space for the intended movement. Both need to match the particular vehicle component.

Compare sleeve length, bore size and the outer seating profile with the receiving assembly. A visually similar bushing can leave a different bracket spacing or clamp the wrong surfaces when tightened. The suspension's required movement and loads must be addressed by the complete design; a generic material name does not establish vehicle compatibility.

Installation should follow the specific assembly requirements, including orientation and fastening conditions, rather than a general-purpose bushing procedure. Keep sharp edges from damaging the rubber during fitting. In service, inspect for relative movement at the sleeve and for rubber displacement from its intended seat. A loose fastener and deterioration of the compliant body are different faults and should not be treated as interchangeable causes of the same visible movement.

Material options
Silicone. Custom formulation and color for the intended contact conditions.
Hardness selection
Silicone: 20–80 Shore A. The suspension's required movement and loads must be addressed by the complete design; a generic material name does not establish vehicle compatibility.
Custom dimensions

Ordering this custom component

Can the shape be adjusted to my mating parts?

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.

Which details should be agreed before tooling?

Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.

Can a sample help define the replacement?

A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.

How is the quotation for this part determined?

The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
