Conductive pills serve as contact elements within a molded keypad arrangement. The custom pill dimensions and placement need to align with the underlying circuit and the movement of the silicone keys. Any surface finish or coating on the keypad should be considered alongside that contact function.
The contact side needs a defined position relative to the board in the relaxed and pressed states. The housing, backing, and rubber geometry all influence that relationship. A coating intended for the visible surface should not be assumed suitable for the electrical contact area or allowed to interfere with the intended movement.
Handle the contact elements cleanly and keep oils or particles away from their working surfaces. Assemble the keypad in its intended orientation and test it with the enclosure secured. Check independent operation and release of each key, particularly near edges or fasteners where clamping can differ. The complete keypad and circuit determine the required electrical performance and service life, so those properties should be established for the finished construction rather than inferred from the presence of a conductive pill.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
