A silicone rubber suction cup for a machine should use a formulation suited to its particular operating conditions. EPDM, NBR and silicone represent material options that need separate assessment. Keep the intended contact geometry consistent when comparing how each finished version performs in the machine.
Check the workpiece surface, process residue and cleaning method. The cup also needs to fit its mounting connection and reach the intended pickup position. A change in material should not obscure a simultaneous change in body height or lip shape that affects contact.
Evaluate pickup, movement and release using the actual equipment. Inspect the cup after use for changes at the rim and repeatedly flexed regions. Keep replacement identification tied to the selected compound as well as the size, particularly if several versions share one color. If the working conditions change, review suitability before continuing with the same material. A familiar exterior is not sufficient evidence that the cup remains appropriate for a different surface or process medium.
Photos illustrate structure or material appearance only. A change in material should not obscure a simultaneous change in body height or lip shape that affects contact. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
