Product Overview

Silicone rubber vacuum suckers use a flexible cup face for suction contact, with bolt hardware providing a mechanical connection to the attached assembly. The rubber and hardware must be considered together: one maintains the surface contact while the other transfers the load. Custom dimensions, color and compound options are available.

Position the attachment so force acts through the intended region of the cup. A long bracket or offset component can create a peeling moment even when its weight seems modest. Check the working orientation and any sideways movement, not just a straight pull away from the surface.

Select the bolt interface for the mating hardware, including thread engagement and clearance. Assemble it without twisting the flexible cup lip. The contact surface should be smooth and clean enough for the suction boundary to form around the full edge.

Evaluate retention with the finished attachment and intended surface before regular use. Inspect the lip when moving the cup to a new position, because a small particle or crease can interrupt contact. Release the suction before removing or repositioning the assembly instead of levering it sideways through the bolt-mounted part. Keep the cup face protected from sharp hardware while it is stored.

Ordering this custom component

Can the shape be adjusted to my mating parts?

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.

Which details should be agreed before tooling?

Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.

Can a sample help define the replacement?

A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.

How is the quotation for this part determined?

The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
