Product Overview

A rubber suction cup with m4 screw offers a threaded attachment for the component held by the cup. The M4 connection should be checked for the intended engagement and surrounding clearance, while the cup itself is selected around its contact surface. Tightening the screw must not leave the flexible body twisted or distort the rim before it is placed against the surface.

Consider the position of the attached load relative to the cup center. A projecting bracket can add leverage that tends to lift one side even when the screw remains secure. Evaluate holding behavior with the actual bracket, surface, orientation, and expected movement.

Prepare the cup rim and surface so no grit or residue interrupts contact. Fit the cup according to its design and confirm the attachment rests without tipping it. During reuse, inspect the rubber near the screw and around the lip for damage. Release suction before repositioning the assembly instead of turning the mounted component against an attached cup, which can place unnecessary twisting force on the connection.

Material options
Custom silicone compound; formulation and geometry developed together.
Hardness selection
Silicone options: 20–80 Shore A. The M4 connection should be checked for the intended engagement and surrounding clearance, while the cup itself is selected around its contact surface.
Custom geometry
Tightening the screw must not leave the flexible body twisted or distort the rim before it is placed against the surface.
Fit evaluation
Evaluate holding behavior with the actual bracket, surface, orientation, and expected movement.
Color & OEM
Custom colors; OEM markings outside the suction contact face.

Ordering this custom component

Can the shape be adjusted to my mating parts?

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.

Which details should be agreed before tooling?

Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.

Can a sample help define the replacement?

A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.

How is the quotation for this part determined?

The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
