Match the attachment and installation method
A protective silicone rubber bushing can provide a compliant interface within a recessed bore. The available depth and surrounding shoulder determine how the bushing is supported and how it can be fitted. A part that matches the opening diameter may still stop too early or disappear beyond the intended accessible position.
Custom dimensions, hardness and color allow the profile to follow the receiving component. Define the inside passage and outside engagement separately, considering what will pass through or sit within the bushing.
During installation, check that the bushing reaches its planned seat without folding along the recessed wall. Inspect the passage after the inner component is fitted, since outside compression can change its shape. Removal access should also be considered during development. Avoid using a sharp tool against the silicone to compensate for a profile that cannot be reached. If the bushing repeatedly tears during service, review the recess depth and handling method together with the rubber geometry.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
