A round rubber seal should be selected by its section and retaining geometry as well as its circular outline. A molded O-ring needs a groove that supports the round section, while a flat circular gasket relies on face contact. Matching the outside diameter does not make these arrangements interchangeable.
To order a custom molded O-ring from ETOL, define the installed diameter, section size and required quantity. Check the closing gap and support in the direction of any pressure. Select the compound for the actual medium, temperature, and movement. Protect the fitting route from sharp edges that can damage the surface before the part reaches its seat.
Install without twist in a round section ring or folds in a flat seal. Keep the contact path clean and inspect before closure. During service, compare localized damage with the corresponding hardware feature. Correct an unsupported region or alignment issue rather than moving to a thicker approximate seal, which can disturb the intended closing condition without addressing why the previous part was damaged.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
