Screw rubber feet need a fastening depth that secures the component without interfering with the equipment above it. The screw interface and rubber support should be selected together, including the available space inside the base. A fastener that fits the thread can still bottom out or contact an internal feature before the foot reaches its intended seat.
Check installed height, contact footprint, and the support load direction. The rubber should remain positioned without being twisted during tightening. Select the compound for the actual surface and environmental conditions around the equipment.
Fit using the intended fixing method and verify the full support set rests evenly. Inspect for clearance around the screw connection and unintended hard contact beneath the base. During maintenance, check both hardware looseness and rubber wear, since these require different corrections. Replace the correct geometry rather than simply tightening farther when a foot tilts, as the cause may be a damaged seat or unsuitable engagement rather than insufficient fastening force.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. A fastener that fits the thread can still bottom out or contact an internal feature before the foot reaches its intended seat. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Choose a connection type, then compare body dimensions and metric threads. D, H and L are in millimeters; H excludes projecting studs. The M designation identifies the metric thread.
157 sizes with a male stud at each end. Compare body diameter D, body height H, thread size and projecting stud length L.
