Match the attachment and installation method
Silicone prototype buttons provide a physical version of a proposed custom control. The molded profile can be developed for the housing and switch arrangement, allowing revisions to be evaluated before the final design is fixed. A useful comparison considers the complete assembly rather than only the loose button.
Change one relevant feature at a time where practical, such as the visible height, face shape, or surrounding clearance. Keep the housing and switch positions consistent during the comparison so the effect of the revision remains clear. A change that improves finger access can also alter movement below the panel.
Check each version with the case fully secured and from the normal operating direction. Look for rubbing, incomplete return, and accidental contact with neighboring keys. Markings and color should be assessed in the installed view as well. Keep the parts clean and avoid damage during repeated fitting. The prototype helps resolve geometry and operation, but a claim of durability requires evaluation of the intended production material and construction under the actual use conditions.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. Change one relevant feature at a time where practical, such as the visible height, face shape, or surrounding clearance. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
