Product Overview

Silicone single buttons allow a control layout to use individual molded keys rather than relying on a continuous multi-key sheet. This can suit a panel with widely separated functions or limited space around each switch. Each button needs its own reliable location and retention within the assembly.

Define the visible head, flexible section and underside actuator as separate functional areas. Increasing the head size may improve access but can also change how an off-center press loads the button. The opening should guide the part without rubbing its moving wall or allowing it to turn into an incorrect orientation.

During assembly, account for the small part's position before the enclosure is closed. A loose button can shift away from the switch while the cover is lowered. Confirm correct orientation and free return after fastening. For replacement, match the actuation geometry as well as the visible shape; two buttons that look similar from above can require different installed clearances to operate the same switch reliably.

Material options
Silicone. Custom formulation and color for the intended contact conditions.
Hardness selection
Silicone: 20–80 Shore A. Increasing the head size may improve access but can also change how an off-center press loads the button.
Custom dimensions

Ordering this custom component

Can the shape be adjusted to my mating parts?

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.

Which details should be agreed before tooling?

Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.

Can a sample help define the replacement?

A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.

How is the quotation for this part determined?

The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
