Silicone rubber cylinder sleeves should fit along the intended engagement length of the receiving component. A diameter measured at one end may not describe a taper, coating variation or local feature farther along the surface. The molded bore and length should follow the actual cylindrical interface.
Custom dimensions, material, hardness and color allow the sleeve to match the assembly. Define whether the sleeve is a protective covering or part of a loaded bushing arrangement, since those roles require different assessment. The surrounding seat can also compress the sleeve and change its internal clearance.
During installation, support the rubber so it does not stretch unevenly along its length or fold at the entry. Check the final end positions and inspect the passage after any outer hardware is fitted. Select the silicone formulation for the temperature and exposure involved. During maintenance, examine the contact pattern over the whole length where accessible. A narrow concentrated mark may indicate a local feature in the receiving component rather than an overall diameter problem with the sleeve.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
