Define the visible surfaces and intended color
Develop holes, lips and walls around the mating parts
Match the attachment and installation method
Silicone function buttons should give the intended control a clear pressing area while fitting the movement available inside the equipment. The visible height and shape need to work with the enclosure opening, leaving enough travel to reach the switch and return. A button that stands prominently above a panel can still have insufficient clearance beneath it.
Define the locating features and lower support along with the external outline. Check how the user reaches the button, including any nearby knobs or raised housing details. Select markings that identify the function without being obscured when the component is installed.
During assembly, seat the rubber in its natural position and keep the switching region free of debris. Test actuation and release with the finished electronics and housing. If a button feels different after the enclosure closes, inspect the available space and support rather than assuming the molded part needs to be softer. Maintenance should preserve the intended geometry so an improvised spacer does not alter the relationship between visible travel and electrical input.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
