Custom silicone keypads with rubber switch buttons need a molded geometry that works with the selected switching mechanism. The visible cap provides the finger contact, while the underside transfers movement to the electrical component or contact pattern. Those two surfaces may require different shapes to achieve the intended operation within the available enclosure space.
Identify the board position and necessary movement before choosing the exposed button height. A tall cap can still have insufficient usable travel if it meets the panel or an internal stop too early. The surrounding flexible section also needs room to deform without being trapped by the housing.
Test the complete control with centered and off-center presses. Observe whether the cap tilts, rubs its opening, or moves a neighboring area of the keypad sheet. Check release as carefully as activation, especially after the enclosure is fastened. During handling, protect thin connecting webs and keep the underside clean. Changes to the panel or board spacing should prompt another fit assessment, since the same molded part can behave differently when its supporting geometry changes.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
