Rubber keypads for equipment give a set of controls a coordinated molded surface. A custom membrane layout can follow the available panel area, positioning keys where the operator can reach them while matching the switches beneath. This is useful when a standard keypad arrangement does not suit the equipment enclosure.
Begin with the relationship between the panel, keypad, and circuit support. The panel locates the visible keys, while the backing structure sets the distance to the electrical components. These parts need to work together so that tightening the enclosure does not preload a key or restrict its return. Locating features also help keep the membrane aligned during assembly.
Arrange control groups around the way the equipment is used, leaving adequate separation between frequent actions and occasional settings. Before final installation, exercise the controls with the equipment assembled and check that adjacent keys remain independent. Keep the underside free of loose particles. Surface cleaning and service access should be considered in the panel design so the interface can be maintained without unnecessary disassembly.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
