Match the attachment and installation method
A custom silicone rubber panel seal plug closes an opening through a fitted interface with the finished panel. Coating thickness, local ridges and nearby features should be included in the seat assessment so the flange can make its intended contact.
ETOL offers size, material, hardness and color customization. Define the hole outline, panel thickness and clearance behind the inserted portion. The exposed face should not be forced level over a retained section that has not fully engaged.
Prepare the opening and seat the plug around its perimeter, checking the hidden lip wherever access allows. Evaluate any required exclusion of moisture with the actual panel and operating conditions. During servicing, remove residue before moving the closure so particles are not dragged into the seat. If the panel is refinished or repaired, recheck the fit before reusing the plug. A changed surface can alter the retained thickness or contact even when the visible hole diameter appears unchanged from the original assembly.
Photos illustrate structure or material appearance only. A custom silicone rubber panel seal plug closes an opening through a fitted interface with the finished panel. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Choose a blind-hole, tapered, undercut or solid T-shaped profile, then compare its dimensions with the opening and available seating depth. Each profile has its own drawing and dimension meanings.
155 T-shaped plug sizes. Match shank diameter A, head diameter B, shank length C and head thickness D. E is the bottom blind-hole diameter; E = 0 indicates a solid shank.
