Selected for the contact, temperature and movement
Define the visible surfaces and intended color
Develop holes, lips and walls around the mating parts
Match the attachment and installation method
Custom colored rubber hole plugs close openings with a visible head that can coordinate with the panel or distinguish service locations. The silicone body should be dimensioned for the actual hole and available insertion depth. Color selection should follow a clearly defined mechanical fit.
The head needs to cover the intended area without overlapping nearby markings or hardware. Establish a final seated position that remains recognizable, and leave suitable access for removal where the opening is serviced. A flush appearance should not hide a folded section beneath the visible face. Select the formulation for the actual exposure and cleaning conditions. Before fitting, keep the contact surface clean and inspect the opening edge. During replacement, preserve the body dimensions and material as well as the chosen color. Similar colored parts can have different insertion lengths or retaining features, so identification should remain associated with the complete closure version rather than only its outward appearance.
Photos illustrate structure or material appearance only. Custom colored rubber hole plugs close openings with a visible head that can coordinate with the panel or distinguish service locations. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Choose a blind-hole, tapered, undercut or solid T-shaped profile, then compare its dimensions with the opening and available seating depth. Each profile has its own drawing and dimension meanings.
155 T-shaped plug sizes. Match shank diameter A, head diameter B, shank length C and head thickness D. E is the bottom blind-hole diameter; E = 0 indicates a solid shank.
