Match the attachment and installation method
Custom clear plugs and silicone covers combine a retained body with an exposed area used for fitting and removal. The handling section should remain accessible in the finished assembly, while the transparent appearance is evaluated at the actual wall thickness and shape.
Develop the fitting profile around the opening and surrounding clearance. Check whether the grip remains usable beside adjacent parts and whether pulling it loads the retained edge evenly. Select the silicone or other material for the exposure at that location rather than assuming that all transparent compounds share the same behavior.
Fit the closure without forcing the body beyond its intended seat. Inspect the perimeter directly where possible, since clarity may not reveal a folded hidden section. During service, remove the part using the designed grip and examine the underside before refitting. If repeated removal damages one area, review the access and handling method before producing another closure in the same profile or making the exposed section thinner for appearance alone.
Photos illustrate structure or material appearance only. Develop the fitting profile around the opening and surrounding clearance. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Choose a blind-hole, tapered, undercut or solid T-shaped profile, then compare its dimensions with the opening and available seating depth. Each profile has its own drawing and dimension meanings.
155 T-shaped plug sizes. Match shank diameter A, head diameter B, shank length C and head thickness D. E is the bottom blind-hole diameter; E = 0 indicates a solid shank.
