Custom silicone plugs can be shaped for an opening that needs a defined sealing interface. The body, head, and stopping surface should suit the receiving geometry and the conditions in which the closure will be used. For water exposure, the installed contact must be considered around the whole opening.
Identify where water can reach the assembly and how it can collect near the plug. A recessed seat may retain debris or moisture around the head, while an exposed seat may be disturbed during handling. The design should allow the part to reach its intended position and permit a useful seating check afterward. Avoid relying on the visible head to hide an uncertain body fit.
Select the silicone formulation and hardness for the actual exposure, then assess the completed closure under those conditions. Keep the opening surface free from damage and trapped particles before fitting. Following removal, clean and inspect the contact region before reuse. A change to the opening finish, surrounding geometry, or stopper profile should be included when reassessing the sealing arrangement.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
