Product Overview

Custom EPDM rubber feet should be selected around the contact surface and movement at the support point. The compound, dimensions, and hardness need to suit the actual equipment and environment. Wear-related requirements depend on that complete interface rather than the material name alone.

Check whether the foot remains stationary or moves across the surface during normal handling. Repeated contact at one edge can differ from evenly supported contact across the face. The attachment should retain the foot at its intended height and orientation.

Install through the designed method and assess the complete base for compatible seating across its supports. Keep particles away from the contact faces during care, since trapped grit can concentrate beneath the rubber. Inspect for uneven wear, splitting, or displacement and examine the surrounding geometry if damage returns at one location. Replace with the specified compound and profile rather than a similar pad that changes the contact area or installed height beneath the equipment.

04

Produce & inspect

Manufacture and check against the approved requirements

Review the intended assembly

Working conditions

Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.

Material and structure

Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.

Installation

Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.

Ordering this custom component

Can the shape be adjusted to my mating parts?

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.

Which details should be agreed before tooling?

Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.

Can a sample help define the replacement?

A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.

How is the quotation for this part determined?

The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
