Product Overview
A custom wiring harness rubber grommet cushions the transition through a panel while keeping the bundle away from its cut edge. The final positions of harness ties and clips should be reviewed with the grommet, since they determine the direction in which the bundle loads the passage.
Fit the entry around the harness in its completed wrapped form. Keep enough clearance for the bundle without relying on the wire group to hold the rubber in the panel. Custom structure, material, size and color allow the retained profile to suit that installation. After each nearby support is secured, check whether the bundle has moved toward one side of the opening. A last tie can change the entry even when earlier assembly checks looked satisfactory. During maintenance, restore the support arrangement before judging the grommet's fit. If the harness is rerouted, reassess the contact at the opening rather than leaving the rubber pulled toward the new path. Correcting that relationship helps avoid repeated rubbing in one small region.
