A protection cable round grommet provides a molded rubber interface around a cable opening. The bushing should cushion contact within its working region while remaining retained by the panel. Movement of the entire liner in an oversized opening is different from the intended flexibility of the rubber around the cable.
Match the groove to the local wall and check the hole across its full circumference. The cable bore should fit the finished jacket without requiring it to stretch the retained region outward. Custom shape, material and color can follow the installation. During an assembly trial, watch the panel lip while the cable is handled through its expected positions. If the body rocks or rotates freely, review the mounting dimensions and support rather than treating that motion as useful cushioning. During service, inspect for cuts where the liner has moved against the edge. Correct the underlying fit before a replacement is installed, so the wire remains separated from the hard opening during ordinary movement.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. Movement of the entire liner in an oversized opening is different from the intended flexibility of the rubber around the cable. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
