A thin flat sealing washer provides a limited rubber section at a matching contact interface. Where space is restricted, its thickness needs to preserve the joint's intended closed height while still allowing the designed contact. Increasing thickness to seek more cushioning can change the assembly position and the way nearby parts meet.
Choose the compound, bore and outer dimensions for the actual application. Any vibration or water-sealing function should be evaluated in the complete arrangement rather than inferred from a flexible washer alone. The load path and supported area are relevant alongside the material choice.
Place the washer flat on a prepared face and inspect for folding at the central opening. Secure the joint using its specified method, then check that the rubber has not moved into an unintended clearance. During servicing, compare the used section with the original dimensions before selecting a replacement. Correct an uneven seat or damaged edge first so the next washer does not begin with the same concentrated contact.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
