A silicone rubber sealing washer provides a compliant ring that can be selected for a joint requiring both sealing contact and cushioning. Its material and geometry should work with the mating faces and the way force is applied. The washer's usable behavior depends on the installed compression, not simply on a soft feel when loose.
Identify whether the joint remains steadily loaded or sees changes in force. The rubber needs enough supported area to maintain its contact without being driven into an unsupported gap. Check inner and outer diameters together with the intended working thickness.
Choose the formulation for the actual operating environment and assess both mechanical response and sealing in the completed assembly. Keep the washer centered as the mating parts meet, avoiding a fold or local pinch. During inspection, look for permanent deformation concentrated at one side. That may indicate uneven support or an off-center load that should be corrected before replacement. Use the specified section and compound when rebuilding the joint rather than increasing thickness to compensate for a condition the original assembly was not designed to accommodate.

Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
