A silicone rubber flat washer can provide a compliant annular layer beneath a selected contact face. Its cushioning behavior depends on the area loaded and the space available for deformation. A washer clamped against an unsupported edge may spread or tilt rather than receive the intended contact evenly.
Check the inner opening, outer support area, and thickness alongside the surrounding hardware. Select the formulation for the actual temperature and substances. If impact or shock cushioning is required, assess the complete arrangement under its relevant movement rather than assigning a result from the rubber material alone.
Center the washer before fastening and keep the load aligned with its support. Inspect for an edge pushed into a gap or dragged into a fold. During service, compare any uneven wear with the contacting component. Correct a sharp point or off center load before replacement instead of adding another washer, which changes the installed height and can introduce a different contact condition in the same joint.

Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
