Custom silicone gaskets for food contact applications should be developed with the cleaning process in mind. The sealing region needs suitable compression, while adjacent surfaces should permit the intended removal of residue. An unnecessarily wide or deeply recessed gasket can create areas that are difficult to inspect after washing.
Choose the silicone formulation for the food, contact time and temperature involved. The gasket's dimensions and color can be matched to the equipment, with the receiving seat providing the required support. Evaluate the complete joint through normal use and cleaning rather than judging suitability from a loose material sample alone.
During fitting, keep both sealing faces free of particles and make sure the gasket has not been stretched unevenly around its seat. After disassembly, inspect the locations where residue consistently accumulates. Those patterns can reveal a narrow gap or an unsupported edge that deserves attention in the joint design. Replace cut or permanently distorted gaskets, and restore the intended position before the equipment returns to use.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
