A rubber cushion arrangement should define how the part supports contact before assigning sealing or vibration functions to it. The washer's thickness, face area, and surrounding hardware determine where the rubber can deform. A component squeezed rigidly between metal faces behaves differently from one with room to accommodate movement.
Check the central opening and support beneath the entire contact band. Keep nearby hardware from creating an unintended rigid path around the rubber. Select the compound for the actual medium and temperature, then assess any water sealing and vibration requirements on the complete installed assembly.
Place the washer flat and centered before fastening. Inspect for twisting or material pushed into an unsupported gap as the joint closes. During maintenance, compare wear with the actual load direction and mating surfaces. If the part is consistently compressed unevenly, correct the support arrangement before replacement rather than adding thickness that changes the closing position without addressing the cause of the uneven contact.

Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
