A 1mm thickness rubber pad provides a thin flexible interface where available clearance is limited. The self-adhesive option also introduces a backing that must suit the mounting surface. The complete installed thickness should be considered when the pad sits within a close-fitting assembly.
Check the contact area before placing the pad. A ridge, screw head or uneven finish can occupy a significant part of the space available to a thin rubber layer. Select the custom outline so the adhesive is supported and the opposing part contacts the intended face. Confirm whether the specified thickness refers to the rubber alone or the complete selected construction when setting the final gap.
Prepare the surface for the chosen backing and place the pad without stretching it. Thin material can be distorted during liner removal, so keep the outline aligned as it is laid down. Evaluate the finished contact instead of assuming that a small thickness change cannot affect the fit.
During inspection, look for an adhesive edge lifting or a local mark where hardware is pressing through the rubber. Replace a damaged pad after restoring the mounting surface. Do not stack additional thin layers to correct an unexplained gap without reassessing the support and contact arrangement.

Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
