An adhesive rubber pad provides a molded contact layer attached to a suitable surface by a backing adhesive. The 3M adhesive selection and rubber dimensions should match the product base, supported area, and intended environment. The bond and the rubber contact perform different roles within the arrangement.
Choose a flat mounting area with enough space for the whole pad. Recesses, surface texture, or contamination can reduce the effective bond. Use the preparation and application conditions appropriate to the actual adhesive grade and substrate; the brand name does not identify one universal procedure.
Position the pad before exposing the adhesive, then apply it evenly without stretching the rubber. Check the complete assembly under its intended load and movement conditions. A pad described for anti-vibration or non-slip use does not establish fixed performance independently of the supported system and surface. Keep the contact face clean and inspect the adhesive edges after moving the item. Replace a peeling or damaged pad rather than leaving only part of it attached.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
