A waterproof silicone rubber keypad must be integrated with a suitable computer enclosure to form an effective protected interface. The stationary perimeter and the moving button areas have different mechanical needs. The perimeter may require controlled compression, while each key needs space to travel and return without being trapped by that restraint.
Define the board-to-panel relationship and the intended mating surfaces before settling the molded profile. Check how the enclosure applies pressure around the sheet, including corners and changes in fastener spacing. Uneven closure can distort the keypad while leaving a gap elsewhere in the protection path.
Evaluate both input behavior and water exclusion on the finished assembly under its specified conditions. Press controls from realistic angles after the housing is fully secured, and check that larger keys do not disturb nearby areas. The silicone part alone cannot establish the computer's overall ingress rating. Following service, inspect the mating surfaces for debris and return the sheet to its intended position; an apparently neat front face does not confirm that the hidden perimeter has reseated correctly.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
