A viton rubber o ring should be selected around the specific oil and temperature at its sealing location. Oil exposure can include additives or cleaning residues as well as the primary fluid, making the actual service mixture relevant to compound choice. The ring's dimensions then need to suit the groove and the changing gap through the operating cycle.
Check the section support in the direction of pressure and identify whether the joint remains static or moves. A high temperature requirement should be evaluated at the seal itself, including startup and cooldown, rather than inferred from a nearby machine temperature or a general material name.
Install the ring without twist and use only compatible assembly aids where needed. Keep sharp shoulders from contacting the section as it enters the groove. During service, inspect for swelling, hardening, cuts, or material pushed into a gap. If the oil specification changes, reassess the chosen compound before continuing with the same replacement solely because it fits the existing groove dimensions.

Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
