Product Overview

ETOL manufactures molded protective rubber feet in China to provide designated contact points beneath a product, keeping its rigid underside clear of the supporting surface. This is useful when an enclosure has a finish that should be kept away from a worktop during placement and handling. The protection comes from the installed arrangement: the feet need enough height and suitable positioning to maintain separation across the whole base. The foot outline, supported height and production quantity are defined for each custom order.

Look beyond the four corners when planning locations. A projecting fastener, central rib or uneven panel can contact the surface even when the feet appear correctly positioned. Check the underside drawing and inspect a complete assembly on a flat reference surface. The required clearance should account for normal loading and the way the equipment is placed down, without obstructing the surrounding design.

Custom molding allows the shape, dimensions, color and compound to be discussed with ETOL. Specify the surface being protected as well as the surface supporting the equipment. If visible marking is a concern, include a representative finish in the sample evaluation. A general rubber material description does not establish compatibility with every painted, polished or coated surface.

After fitting protective rubber feet, verify that the intended contact points carry the assembly and that the underside remains clear during normal handling. Clean the bases before use on delicate surfaces, since trapped particles can defeat the purpose of a soft contact layer. Periodically check for reduced height, loose retention or a foot that has shifted from its designated position. Avoid stacking equipment in a way that places force on unsupported housing features unless that arrangement has been evaluated. For a quotation, provide the underside layout, desired clearance and mounting details, together with the finish that requires protection. This helps relate the molded component to the actual contact points of the finished product.

Material options
Custom rubber compound and color, selected for the contact conditions and required geometry.
Hardness range
30–90 Shore A for rubber. Assess the grade against this fit requirement: The required clearance should account for normal loading and the way the equipment is placed down, without obstructing the surrounding design.
Custom profile & fit
The protection comes from the installed arrangement: the feet need enough height and suitable positioning to maintain separation across the whole base.
Assembly considerations

Rubber Feet Size Catalog

Choose hemispherical, tapered or recessed rubber feet and compare the mounting dimensions. All values are in millimeters. Use the drawing labels for each product; a dash marks a dimension not supplied in the source.

Recessed Rubber Feet

12 sizes for recessed rubber feet, including flat and rounded bases. The Base column identifies the lower-edge style. C is recess depth; the appearance rendering shows a rounded-base example.

Ordering this custom component

Can the shape be adjusted to my mating parts?

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.

Which details should be agreed before tooling?

Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.

Can a sample help define the replacement?

A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.

How is the quotation for this part determined?

The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
