A heat resistant rubber bumper provides a compliant contact point where a moving part reaches its intended resting or stopping position. The bumper's installed height determines when contact occurs, while its shape and material influence how it deforms. The surrounding assembly should establish the required travel and clearance.
Custom structure, dimensions, hardness and color are available. Select the compound for the local temperature and duration of exposure, including repeated contact while the assembly is warm. Evaluate the bumper with the actual mating surface and the expected direction of approach.
Check whether contact is centered or arrives at an edge. An angled strike can create localized damage even when the main body appears substantial. The attachment should keep the bumper in position without allowing nearby rigid parts to meet before the intended rubber contact is established.
If several bumpers share a contact surface, compare the installed heights and approach geometry across the set. One high point can receive contact before the others and consume more of its available compression. Evaluate the assembled arrangement rather than selecting each bumper from its loose dimensions alone.
After representative operation, inspect for permanent flattening, splitting or displacement at the mount. A changed contact height can alter the resting position of the moving component. Review the complete stopping arrangement if the bumper is repeatedly crushed, and avoid using greater thickness alone to compensate for an unresolved travel or alignment issue.

Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
