A clear rubber O-ring molded in silicone should be inspected for surface damage and trapped particles before it is placed in its groove. Its appearance can make some defects less obvious under poor lighting, so the full circumference deserves attention. The transparent finish does not establish material purity or application suitability; the selected formulation must match the actual service conditions.
Choose section size and installed diameter around the groove and closing gap. Include the contacting medium, temperature, and cleaning exposure. A colored molded washer uses a different face section and should remain separately identified where both formats are used.
Fit the ring without twist and protect it from sharp edges on the assembly route. Keep the groove clean before closure. During maintenance, examine any cut or persistent deformation alongside the mating feature that contacted it. Preserve the intended compound and dimensions when replacing the ring instead of choosing another clear part solely because it looks similar to the removed seal.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. The groove diameter and closed gap define the clear silicone ring more reliably than its appearance. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
