Custom elastomer silicone buttons provide the flexible input surfaces of an electronic keypad. The shape of each key should suit the area that a user will actually press, including the approach direction and nearby controls. The molded rubber needs to move freely within the enclosure rather than relying on the housing to hold a distorted key in place.
Evaluate a prototype with the board and front panel assembled. Press the center and the ordinary edge contact areas, then check that the button returns fully after release. A key reached obliquely may need different clearance from one approached straight on. Keep visible identification aligned with the functional input beneath it. During fitting, avoid trapping connecting rubber under a post or screw feature. If a button begins responding differently after service, inspect the pad's locating position and underlying clearance before altering the rubber. Clean debris from around the exposed key without scraping thin edges, and replace a torn section instead of using enclosure pressure to keep it operating temporarily.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
