A custom silicone rubber bushing can provide a fitted interface around a component in an electrical assembly. The bore, outer profile and length should match the surrounding hardware and the part passing through it. Establish where the bushing locates and where clearance is needed before choosing its final dimensions.
Check the assembly path. A connector or shoulder may be larger than the working body, affecting how the sleeve can be fitted without damage. Once installed, the rubber should remain seated without a forced bend or constant sideways pull from the routed component.
Choose the finished formulation for the actual environment and contact conditions. Electrical ratings must be assessed for the complete intended application rather than inferred from silicone alone. During inspection, look for cuts at the entry edges and rubbing along the bore. Clean the mating region before refitting, and match replacement geometry at both the inner and outer interfaces. A bushing that fits one surface but distorts against the other does not restore the intended assembly.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
