A soft silicone sleeve used as a rubber bushing should be assessed after it is fitted into its receiving feature. Outer compression can change the inner clearance around a cable or component. The bore that appears correct in a loose sleeve may become tighter or distorted once the surrounding structure is assembled.
Define the receiving diameter, usable length, and any flange or shoulder that controls location. Match the inner profile to the actual cable covering or mating part. Select the formulation for the operating environment and the movement expected at the interface.
Install in line with the receiving feature without rolling the wall. Check the internal contact after final assembly and ensure the cable route does not pull the bushing sideways. During service, inspect for uneven wear or an end that has migrated. Correct alignment or outer fit where necessary before choosing a softer replacement, since material flexibility alone cannot restore clearance lost to an unsuitable receiving geometry.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
