Product Overview

Electronic silicone keypad buttons provide the flexible front surface of a custom control interface. In a conductive arrangement, the underside contact positions must line up with the circuit while the visible keys remain correctly located in the housing. The layout can be customized for the required functions and panel space.

Plan the markings alongside the electrical mapping. Printed, embossed, debossed, or color-filled legends can identify functions, but each needs to correspond to the contact it operates. Locating features and a clear orientation help avoid fitting a similar-looking keypad in the wrong direction during assembly.

Check the interface with the case fully secured. Every key needs room to move and return without a housing edge rubbing against it or a neighboring key responding unintentionally. Keep the contact side free of dirt and oily fingerprints while handling the component. A functional check should include the controls at the edges of the layout, where clamping or limited clearance can influence movement differently from the keys in the center.

Material options
Silicone. Custom formulation and color for the intended contact conditions.
Hardness selection
Silicone: 20–80 Shore A. Every key needs room to move and return without a housing edge rubbing against it or a neighboring key responding unintentionally.

Ordering this custom component

Can the shape be adjusted to my mating parts?

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.

Which details should be agreed before tooling?

Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.

Can a sample help define the replacement?

A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.

How is the quotation for this part determined?

The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
