An EPDM rubber cable grommet lines a panel cutout to cushion wiring against its edges. This page also names a neoprene sleeve, so the material choice should be kept explicit when developing the custom part. EPDM and neoprene are distinct rubber choices, even when the resulting profiles share the same appearance.
Select the compound for the installation environment, then match the groove, passage and any sleeve portion to their respective mating surfaces. The panel wall determines the retaining fit, while the cable route determines the inside clearance and the direction in which the wire leaves the opening. ETOL can vary structure, dimensions, hardness and color for that relationship.
During fitting, check that the rubber seats around the full cut edge without twisting the cable. A longer sleeve section, where included in the chosen design, also needs room beyond the panel. Inspect the end of that section after routing to make sure it does not force a sharp bend. Keep the specified material attached to the final part identification when replacing the entry during service.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. A longer sleeve section, where included in the chosen design, also needs room beyond the panel. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
