Flexible silicone can help a custom vacuum suction cup form its contact with a workpiece, but the amount and direction of deformation need to suit the gripping task. Select the cup dimensions around the available contact area and the motion of the industrial equipment. Material choice should also reflect exposure to the workpiece surface and any process residues.
Observe the cup as the machine approaches and begins to grip. The lip should reach the intended surface without the body being pushed into an uncontrolled fold. Excessive approach travel can distort the contact even when the loose cup appears well matched to the item.
Continue the check through movement and release. Changes in direction can place different demands on the contact than a static pickup trial. Evaluate the complete vacuum system for the actual cycle rather than assigning a holding capability from flexibility alone. During maintenance, examine where the cup bends repeatedly and clean the sealing rim. A persistent crease or damaged edge should be addressed before it contributes to missed or uneven pickups.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
