A food grade silicone rubber gasket should be developed around the specific food-contact interface of the equipment. The outline, thickness and exposed edges affect how the joint can be assembled and cleaned, while the selected silicone formulation must suit the actual contents and service conditions.
Choose the material for the relevant foods, temperatures and cleaning substances. A general food-grade label does not define suitability for every application. The gasket should follow the designated sealing land without folding into the opening or leaving an unintended recess beside the contact path.
Evaluate the part in the finished joint and through the equipment's intended cleaning routine. Check that the gasket remains seated after removal and refitting where servicing requires those steps. During inspection, look for cuts, trapped residue or a changed edge profile. Replace damaged rubber rather than trimming away the affected section, and examine the mating face so the cause of damage does not remain in place beneath the replacement gasket.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
