Product Overview

Silicone gaskets for pots should remain identifiable when several container sizes are used or serviced together. Similar-looking rings can belong to different pot designs, and a worn seal may no longer show its original dimensions. Keep each replacement associated with the particular container and selected silicone formulation.

Custom size and color options can support that organization. A color can distinguish variants if it is consistently assigned, but it should not replace the dimensional identity of the ring. Record the required inner and outer dimensions and section shape for each version. Compare replacements in their relaxed condition rather than measuring a ring stretched by hand or permanently altered during use.

Store spare seals clean and free from sustained stretching, sharp folds or compression beneath other items. Keep different versions separated so a ring is not selected merely because it appears to match another one nearby. The material choice must suit the intended contents and care process.

When replacing a seal, identify the pot first and then select its designated gasket. If several seals were removed for cleaning, return each to its assigned container. Changes in size or formulation require assessment for that pot instead of being treated as equivalent because the new ring has the same color.

Material options
Silicone. Custom formulation and color for the intended contact conditions.
Hardness selection
Silicone: 20–80 Shore A. Evaluate the silicone firmness in the particular pot and lid arrangement; a revised ring size changes contact even when the color stays the same.
Custom dimensions
Record the required inner and outer dimensions and section shape for each version.
Fit & assembly
Custom size and color options can support that organization.
Use & inspection
If several seals were removed for cleaning, return each to its assigned container.

Ordering this custom component

Can the shape be adjusted to my mating parts?

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.

Which details should be agreed before tooling?

Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.

Can a sample help define the replacement?

A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.

How is the quotation for this part determined?

The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
