Rubber caps for furniture legs fit over compatible leg ends to create a flexible contact layer between the furniture and the floor. The cover can also conceal the exposed end of a tube or unfinished leg, producing a more complete appearance. For chairs, stools or similar furniture, the useful fit is determined by both the inside of the cap and the way its base meets the floor.
Begin by identifying the leg shape at the actual mounting position. Round, oval and rectangular sections need different internal profiles, and a tapered leg may change size over the insertion length. Measure more than one production leg if dimensions vary. A cover that is loose can move during use, while an excessively tight cavity can make fitting difficult or place unnecessary strain on the material.
The angle of the furniture leg also affects the design. Check the assembled cover with the furniture standing normally so that an angled tube does not load only one edge of the base. A full assembly trial can reveal rocking or uneven contact that is not obvious when a loose cap is inspected on a bench. Custom size, material, hardness and color options are available for review with ETOL.
Keep furniture leg rubber covers clean at their floor-facing surface. Grit trapped beneath a soft cap can still mark a floor, and compatibility with a particular finish should be checked on a representative surface. Lift furniture when repositioning it if dragging would stretch or dislodge the cover. Inspect the base and internal seating area for wear during routine maintenance. For a quotation, provide the leg section, insertion depth, normal leg angle and the type of flooring. These details support a design that suits the furniture as assembled rather than merely matching its nominal tube size.

FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Compare inside diameter A with the outside of the part being covered. Check inside depth C and overall dimensions B and D for available clearance. These RSE references show a round cap with one closed end.
43 closed-end cap sizes. A is the inside diameter and C is the usable internal depth; B and D describe the outside envelope.

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
